Gerard Butler Saved At Large-Wave Surfing Place

The 42-year-old star of Of Males and Mavericks occured underwater Sunday mid-day when some waves folded in. A security patrolman on the Jetski swooped in and selected him up. Competitive surfer Zach Wormhoudt informs The San Mateo County Occasions newspaper the actor was shaken up although not seriously hurt. Butler was taken by ambulance to some hospital for examination and then launched. Of Males and Mavericks is all about surfer Jay Moriarty, who died inside a free-diving accident in 2001 when he was 23.
